HAMILTON NEW ZEALAND

Capacity:  30m3/day ADWF
Product:    Domestic Sewage
Treatment Type:   RBC ( R
otating Biological Contactor)

Located on the North Island of New Zealand the client required a low energy solution to replace their ageing STP and to meet their future expansion plans.

The RBC was chosen for its simplistic design, low energy consumption (.55kw for the RBC unit), quality of construction and ease of operations.  The system is maintained by onsite managers.

The Alpha-Disc can be installed either below or above ground depending on the climate and customer preference.  In this instance the client chose to house the unit in a shed allowing enough space for future expansion of the site by installing another Alpha-Disc module when appropriate.
